Offline functionality
One of STE's main benefits is it's offline functionality, allowing you to edit a page offline that you have previously downloaded. This means that even when you cannot access Wikidot with your web browser, you can still use STE.
It is this ability that makes the tool so unique and will be the main focus of the upcoming and much-anticipated version 4.
Features that work offline
- Open and Save from Hard Drive
- Extensions that are already installed will continue to work. Installation requires an Internet connection (see below)
- Toolbar buttons
- Printing
- Some of the tools in the Tools Menu (specifically, the Validate code and Reformat code menu items)

- Installing Extensions from the Extensions Gallery
